Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking a Groundwater Modeling & Environmental Data Management Consultant to contribute to European projects by applying groundwater modeling, hydrogeology, and data management expertise.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams across industrial, infrastructure, energy, and public-sector sectors, delivering robust models, data pipelines, and regulatory-compliant reports while advancing sustainability goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in hydrogeology, geosciences, environmental engineering, water resources, environmental science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in groundwater modeling, hydrogeological assessments, environmental data management, or related field.
  • Experience with groundwater modeling software such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW, Visual MODFLOW, or similar tools.
  • Strong skills in environmental data analysis and management.
  • Experience with GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with environmental databases, data visualization, and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and international teams.

Responsibilities

Shape Sustainable Solutions Through Data and Science We are seeking a talented Groundwater Modeling & Environmental Data Management Consultant to join our growing environmental consulting team. In this role, you will contribute to complex environmental and water resource projects by applying your expertise in groundwater modeling, hydrogeology, and environmental data management to help clients address regulatory, operational, and sustainability challenges. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will support projects across industrial, infrastructure, energy, and public-sector clients throughout Europe.

Key Responsibilities
