Zusammenfassung

Mercury is seeking an EHS Lead in Zurich, Switzerland. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining robust environmental, health and safety management systems across projects.

You will ensure compliance with statutory provisions and coordinate risk assessments, safe work plans and permits to work. The ideal candidate will have a certificate in Environmental, Health & Safety and at least three years of site experience, with strong communication and IT skills to support continuous safety

Qualifikationen

Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation.
Strong communication and computer skills are essential.
Ability to work on own initiative with strong interpersonal abilities.

Aufgaben

Ensure EHS management systems for all projects are implemented and maintained.
Adhere to Mercury Engineering safety management systems and applicable legislation.
Coordinate development of task-specific method statements, risk assessments, safe plans of action and permits to work.
Carry out site audits, document reports, and establish corrective and preventive actions.
Provide advice and guidance in all EHS matters to management, safety representatives and employees.
Ensure project sub-contractors adhere to EHS policies and procedures.
