Jobbeschreibung

Richemont owns some of the world’s leading luxury goods Maisons, with particular strengths in jewellery, fine watches and premium accessories. Each Maison represents a proud tradition of style, quality and craftsmanship and Richemont seeks to preserve the heritage and identity of each of its Maisons. At the same time, we are committed to innovation and designing new products which are in keeping with our Maisons’ values, through a process of continuous creativity.

BACKGROUND

Our approach to sustainability is inspired by our history and purpose: ‘We Craft the Future’. In FY26, the Group continued building on our responsible business values and heritage. This past year, the scope of the Group’s environmental management was further refined. This included the alignment of departments and expertise, along with the clarification of definitions and topics relevant to Richemont’s value chain, fostering a collective and harmonized approach to environmental stewardship.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

The Environment Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving Richemont's environmental agenda. Reporting to the Sustainability Transformation Manager, this position is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Group's environmental framework, ensuring alignment with Richemont's overall sustainability framework.

  • Environmental Framework: Contribute to the formulation and implementation of Group Policies and Guidelines for priority environmental topics, assess their effectiveness and impact, and identify areas for improvement or revision. Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the development and implementation of environmental projects and actions in coordination with Maisons, Regions and Functions.

Under the strategic guidance of the Director Sustainability Transformation, this role supports the definition, development, and implementation of Richemont's harmonised group environmental framework, covering key areas such as climate change mitigation, circular economy principles, biodiversity protection, and water stewardship.

  • Roadmap Development: Translate high-level environmental objectives into concrete, feasible roadmaps and actions for the Group and its diverse Maisons, ensuring practical application and measurable impact.
  • Impact, Risk & Opportunity Assessment: Support the establishment and implementation of the process for identifying and assessing existing and emerging environmental risks, regulatory changes, and innovative opportunities across the value chain. This includes proposing responses and solutions for prevention, mitigation, and remediation.
  • Target Setting & Performance Management: Contribute to environmental target setting and progress reporting, with a focus on digital solution integration.
  • Reporting & Performance: Support the interpretation of environmental performance data to inform, among other, the continuous evolution of the environmental framework, support internal and external reporting (e.g., GRI, TCFD), and identify areas for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Maisons' sustainability teams, operational departments, and central functions (e.g., Operations, Real Estate, Procurement) to embed environmental considerations into business processes, product lifecycles, and decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare compelling presentations and reports for various internal stakeholders, including senior management, to communicate strategy, progress, and recommendations.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate knowledge sharing and capability building across the Group on environmental topics, fostering a community of practice.
  • Best Practice & Innovation: Stay abreast of global environmental trends, scientific advancements, industry best practices, and technological innovations and provide recommendations to inform future programs and initiatives.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
  • Deep understanding of global environmental challenges and solutions, including climate change science, circular economy models, biodiversity conservation, and resource efficiency.
  • Passionate about environmental sustainability and its integration into business strategy.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives from conception to implementation.
  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity in a dynamic global environment.
  • A strategic and forward-thinking individual with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Highly collaborative and influential, with the ability to build strong relationships and drive change across a matrix organization.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex environmental concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
Skills & Experience
  • Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in environmental management, sustainability strategy development, or a similar role, preferably within a large, international organization or consulting firm.
  • Demonstrated experience with environmental reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD) and target-setting methodologies (e.g., SBTi).
