Vitol, a global energy and commodities company, is creating a new Enterprise Architecture function. The Enterprise Architect will define target architectures, governance, and a data-driven modernization program across trading and physical operations.

Reporting to the CTO, you will lead architecture governance, build vs buy decisions, and collaborate with product engineering, trading desks, CyberOps, and Cloud & Infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years in enterprise architecture or technical leadership.
• 5+ years in a senior executive role.
• Experience with lean architecture governance.
• Hands-on data integration topology design.
• Experience building AI and agentic capabilities.
• Security-by-design focused architecture decisions.

Aufgaben

• Define target state architectures and tech blueprints.
• Establish lightweight Architecture Advisory Framework.
• Guide technology and integration decisions across teams.
• Define build vs buy criteria and rationalization.
• Own and govern the application and technology inventory.
• Collaborate with product engineering, trading desks, and Cloud/Infra.
• Lead and develop Enterprise Architects.
• Own the technology demand management process.
• Promote architecture governance principles.
• Ensure security and resiliency in designs.
