Zusammenfassung

VAT Vakuumventile AG is seeking an AI & Cloud Application Architect to shape cloud-based SCM software. You will craft scalable data pipelines, APIs, and analytics platforms, while guiding architectural standards and vendor strategy across the organization.

You will lead AI/ML initiatives in forecasting and supply chain contexts, mentor technical teams, and drive a modern cloud-native stack from design to deployment in a global setting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive hands-on Azure cloud development experience; knowledge of AWS, GCP and Databricks is a plus.
• Advanced coding skills in Python and SQL; experience architecting cloud solutions.
• Expert knowledge in data engineering, data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Proven track record in AI/ML pipelines, preferably in forecasting or supply chain applications.
• Mastery of the full software development lifecycle (CI/CD, design, prototyping, deployment, maintenance).
• Senior-level experience in cross-functional teamwork, stakeholder management, communication and presentation.

Aufgaben

• Define and design architectural standards for scalable cloud solutions, including data pipelines, APIs and analytical tools.
• Oversee integrity and performance of SCM AI models and cloud applications; drive enhancements.
• Translate business needs into technical blueprints aligning with digital capabilities.
• Scout emerging AI/cloud technologies to define long-term tech stack and vendor strategy.
• Advise on build vs. buy decisions and architectural best practices.
• Contribute to the SCM digital roadmap and ensure projects follow standards.
• Lead SCM digital and AI hub activities; mentor technical specialists.
