Qualifikationen

• 4+ years leading engineering teams, including sprint planning and coaching.
• 7+ years building and operating large-scale backend systems (SOA/microservices).
• Proven experience architecting solutions on AWS.
• Experience operating complex SOA at scale; understand failure modes and blast radius.
• Experience ML training infrastructure integration in SDLC; handling sensitive data.
• Ability to delegate and grow while staying connected to technical details.
• Strong judgment to call out one-way doors and evaluate tradeoffs.
• Ownership mindset, earn trust, and talent development.
• Exceptional communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 5-8 DevOps, backend and full-stack engineers, conducting regular 1-on-1s and performance reviews.
• Partner with other teams to design end-to-end features for robot operations and real-world delivery experiences.
• Collaborate with the bigger software org to structure projects, align timelines and execute.
• Represent the team in technical and product discussions with Senior/Principal stakeholders.
• Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and roadmap execution, protecting the team from distractions.
• Be connected with the technology; evaluate decisions and tradeoffs.
• Raise the bar for system availability, latency, and observability; oversee on-call rotations and post-mortems.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable technical milestones delivering value to the field.
