RIVR, part of Amazon is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Fleet & Cloud Systems team to grow and lead backend and infrastructure engineers building the server-side brains of our robotics platform.

You will define the Cloud team roadmap, support robot fleet at scale, build ML training workflows, and ensure reliability through observability, CI/CD, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years leading engineering teams and coaching developers.
• 7+ years building and operating large-scale backend systems (SOA/microservices).
• Proven AWS architecture experience.
• Experience with ML training infrastructure and handling sensitive data.
• Strong ownership, judgment, and communication; able to mentor talent.

Aufgaben

• Lead and grow a team of 5–8 engineers, conduct regular 1-on-1s and performance reviews.
• Define the Cloud roadmap and align with product and robotics stakeholders.
• Build ML workflows and infrastructure to train models at scale.
• Ensure availability, latency, observability, and robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end features for robot operations.
