Job summary

Hug Engineering AG is seeking a motivated student for a six‑month internship in mechanical/process/chemical engineering. The role supports modeling and simulation tasks using CFD (Siemens Star-CCM+) and GT-SUITE, and involves laboratory subsystem characterization.

You will participate in external measurement campaigns at customer premises or test benches, analyze log and measurement data, and help develop internal tools and guidelines. Strong English skills are required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, process, chemical engineering or comparable field.
• Strong interest in engineering and new technologies.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support CFD (Siemens Star-CCM+) and GT-SUITE modeling and simulation tasks.
• Characterize subsystems in the laboratory (filters, catalysts, injectors).
• Participate in external measurement campaigns at customer premises or test benches.
• Analyze and evaluate log and measurement data.
• Collaborate on developing and maintaining internal tools and guidelines.
