Job summary

Flynn and Chase in Zurich is seeking an Investment Associate to join our specialist energy infrastructure team. You will be involved in every stage of investments, from sourcing and closing deals to helping grow and realise value from portfolio assets.

You will build models, write investment papers, run due diligence, and support deal structuring, debt planning and value-creation initiatives across European opportunities. Fluency in English is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifications

3–6 years in M&A/private equity or infra investing
Strong modelling and valuation skills with corporate finance knowledge
Fluent English; German or another European language is a plus
Entrepreneurial mindset and ownership in a small team
Interest in power markets and energy transition

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate energy infra opportunities internationally, focusing on Europe
Build financial models and valuations for investment recommendations
Prepare investment papers for Investment Committee
Lead due diligence with internal and external experts
Shape deal structures and negotiate with vendors and banks
Monitor market developments and refine sector views
Support bolt-on acquisitions and refinancings
Track asset performance against business plans
