Qualifikationen

• Independent and detail‑oriented with a passion for learning and discovering new technologies.
• Degree in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering (Bachelor/Master, FH/TH).
• Experience in a similar role with knowledge of process engineering and plant automation.
• Skilled in CAE and engineering tools (e.g., Comos).
• Experience in flue gas treatment or Balance of Plant is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German and/or other language is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Define process specifications for various technologies in flue gas treatment and balance of plant.
• Prepare equipment design, P&ID, engineering lists and functional descriptions for control systems programming.
• Support project team through design, procurement and commissioning; travel ~10%
• Act as the point of contact for all process related matters for the Energy from Waste plant.
• Participate in proposal stage through handover, providing process expertise.
• Coordinate with project team and third parties in process issues and risk analyses.
• Ensure compliance with basic concept, HZI policies and guidelines during planning and execution.
• Maintain planning standards (P&ID, engineering lists, templates).
• Adhere to HZI working methodology and guidelines (Comos).
• Be aware of and comply with relevant HSE requirements.
