Volleyball World in Lausanne seeks an Accountant to own the Accounts Payable cycle end to end, contribute to General Ledger, Swiss VAT, and audits. This hands-on role demands strong accounting judgment, accuracy, and a proactive mindset in a dynamic, international team.

You will manage invoice processing, supplier communications, month-end closings, and balance sheet reconciliations, collaborating with the Senior Accounting Manager to maintain compliant, efficient finance operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of hands-on accounting experience across Accounts Payable, General Ledger, reconciliations and month-end/year-end closing.
• Experience with Swiss statutory accounting and Swiss VAT requirements.
• Experience supporting external audits.

Aufgaben

• Take end-to-end ownership of the Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, supplier matters, payment preparation and expense management.
• Play an active role in monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and key General Ledger areas.
• Support Swiss VAT compliance and interim and year-end external audits.
• Bring strong accounting judgement, ownership and a continuous improvement mindset to the Finance function.
• Prepare and review accounting entries relating to payroll, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
