SICPA in Prilly, Switzerland, seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the Machine-Readable Features Laboratory. You will develop, integrate, validate, and maintain embedded software for advanced authentication and traceability systems on RTOS and embedded Linux.

The role covers SoC architectures, industrial software frameworks, and cross-disciplinary collaboration across electronics, optics, chemistry, data science, and software engineering.

Qualificações

• Bachelors or Masters in Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, or equivalent.
• Experience with embedded C/C++ in RTOS and Linux environments is required.
• Familiarity with SoC architectures and hardware/software integration.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and optimize embedded software in C/C++ for RTOS/Linux platforms.
• Design and maintain software across microcontrollers, SoCs, DSPs, and related hardware.
• Support integration with electronics, optics, and sensor subsystems.
• Plan and execute software testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Investigate defects and field issues; contribute to documentation and maintenance.
• Participate in design reviews and multidisciplinary project teams.
