Job summary

Swisslinx AG, on behalf of a leading Swiss technology client, seeks an Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++) to design, develop and maintain embedded software for production testing and calibration. You will help modernize software in a new development environment and work with RTOS, concurrency and distributed components.

Qualifications

• Proficient in object-oriented design and software principles.
• Practical RTOS experience and real-time systems knowledge.
• Strong understanding of concurrency and distributed systems.
• Experience with hardware/software integration; read schematics.
• Analytical, problem-solving with ability to craft technical solutions.
• Experience with software testing, debugging and verification.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain embedded software using C and C++.
• Develop applications for production testing, calibration and verification.
• Support migration of software to a new development environment.
• Contribute to software architecture, technical design and decisions.
• Develop reliable, maintainable, scalable software using OOP.
• Work with RTOS, concurrency and distributed components.
• Integrate software with electronic hardware and troubleshoot HW/SW.
