Liquid-Markets-Solutions (LMS) designs and builds patented, ultra-low-latency network-edge computing solutions for financial services, with teams in Switzerland and Tokyo. We seek embedded software engineers to work with FPGA collaborators, focusing on high-performance C/C++ software, networking, and system-level optimizations.

You will contribute to architecture, implement scalable software, and help shape tooling and benchmarking while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience in C and/or C++ programming
• Deep understanding of memory/cache hierarchy, MMU and CPU core
• Experience with Ethernet networking (IP/TCP/UDP)
• Programming in assembly language
• Experience with SIMD optimizations
• Familiarity with Linux administration and network tools
• Programming the Linux/Unix socket API
• Experience with onload/ef_vi or similar APIs (AMD)
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, Perl)
• Distributed version control experience (Git)

• Hands-on work with advanced hardware-focused software in a team setting
• Participate in business requirements discussions and proposal of solutions
• Transform validated designs into high-level architecture and code
• Develop, optimize and document scalable software applications
• Write clean, well-documented code and perform debugging and profiling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features
• Create benchmarking tools and test plans to measure performance
• Manage code, design docs and project components using version control
• Review peer code and contribute to best practices
