Zusammenfassung

Liquid-Markets-Solutions (LMS) designs and builds patented, ultra-low-latency network-edge computing solutions for financial services, with teams in Switzerland and Tokyo. We seek embedded software engineers to work with FPGA collaborators, focusing on high-performance C/C++ software, networking, and system-level optimizations.

You will contribute to architecture, implement scalable software, and help shape tooling and benchmarking while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience in C and/or C++ programming
• Deep understanding of memory/cache hierarchy, MMU and CPU core
• Experience with Ethernet networking (IP/TCP/UDP)
• Programming in assembly language
• Experience with SIMD optimizations
• Familiarity with Linux administration and network tools
• Programming the Linux/Unix socket API
• Experience with onload/ef_vi or similar APIs (AMD)
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, Perl)
• Distributed version control experience (Git)

To support its growth LMS is seeking talented and motivated embedded software engineers to join our teams in Switzerland, and Tokyo working in close collaboration with our FPGA engineers.

Primary day-to-day duties include: -

• Hands‑on involvement with advanced technology in a team-oriented environment
• Participate in business requirements discussions
• Propose, and/or evaluate, solutions to technological and performance requirements
• Conduct research to identify possible solutions to requirements
• Transform validated and approved solutions into high‑level architecture design
• Develop and implement high‑quality, scalable software applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and implement new features
• Design and implement functionality and performance benchmarking tools and plans
• Use agreed‑upon tools to manage and maintain project components including code and design documentation, code base/version control, and project management
• Create and/or modify design and code implemented in a software language such as C/C++, Bash, Python
• Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to best practices

Required Skills: -

• 2 years or more of experience in C and/or C++ programming
• In‑depth understanding of current computer systems, particularly memory/cache hierarchy, the MMU and the CPU core
• Working knowledge of Ethernet (including IP, TCP, UDP) networking experience
• Programming in any Assembler
• Experience with software speed optimization using SIMD (intrinsics and/or Assembler)
• Use of Linux administration and network tools.
• Programming the Linux/Unix socket API
• Experience with AMD (ex Solarflare) onload/ef_vi or similar APIs
• Working knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Perl).
• Working knowledge of distributed version‑control systems (Git preferred).
