Job summary

Springer Nature in Cham, Switzerland, invites applications for an ELT Consultant to promote our print and digital ELT solutions to institutions across Switzerland. You will develop new business, manage regions, and contribute to strategic growth while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

The role combines field visits with home-based work and regular travel to meet clients. You will build long-term relationships, deliver product demonstrations, training sessions and market

Qualifications

• BA in Education or another recognised EFL/teaching qualification; minimum 2 years’ teaching experience.
• Fluent English (C1/C2) and proficiency in German or French (minimum B1).
• Knowledge of Swiss education system and/or educational publishing; interest in supporting educational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Drive Business Development by achieving agreed print and digital sales objectives within a defined region and identifying growth opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle with existing and prospective customers using Consultative Selling, Negotiation, and Persuasion to develop business.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact, visits, presentations, training sessions, and events; demonstrate a customer-focused approach.
• Generate demand and increase market presence through targeted promotional activities and campaigns; drive results.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver solutions and resolve customer issues, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales pipelines, forecasts, and account reviews to support reporting and planning.
• Gather, analyse, and communicate market intelligence on customer needs, trends, competitors to support growth.
• Maintain strong product knowledge across print and digital offerings and provide customer feedback for improvement.
