Job summary

TomFit AG in Dübendorf is building market-shaping training machines. We seek an Electronics Engineer (m/f/d) who loves hardware, tests circuits, and turns bold ideas into real boards and cabinets. You will shape electronics from the ground up and own the path from prototype to series.

You will rebuild electronics of our machines, handle current sensing, cabinet wiring, and the bus. You’ll design boards or lead that work, ensure EMC and testability, and document the journey.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with hardware practice.
• Experience building real hardware from prototype to series.
• Familiar with 12/24 V circuits and hardware testing.
• Proficient with CAN/CANopen, SPI, analog sensors and embedded platforms.
• Excellent project ownership and collaboration with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Shape electronics from ground up: set tools, standards, working methods.
• Rebuild electronics of machines: current sensing, cabinet, bus to series.
• Bring sensing and diagnostics into machines and fault reporting.
• Design boards or lead that work and bring into machine.
• Shape path into series: EMC, testability, second source, documentation.
• Make technical decisions with suppliers, hardware and software.
