Job summary

Müntener & Thomas Personal‑ und Unternehmensberatung AG seeks an electronics design engineer to shape electronic designs from initial idea through to production in an engineering‑driven environment. You will create and maintain technical data, select components, and work with manufacturing to ensure design robustness.

The role requires hands‑on electronics manufacturing experience, PCB design skills, IPC standards knowledge, and proficient English communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with electronics manufacturing, PCB design and applicable IPC standards.
• Comfortable using laboratory equipment for measurements, validation and troubleshooting.
• Proactive team player with ownership, precise work and confident English communication.

Responsibilities

• Shape electronic designs from the initial idea through to production.
• Create, refine and maintain technical data, components and design resources.
• Select suitable components by weighing technical, commercial and supply-related factors.
• Challenge designs from a production and testing perspective and work closely with manufacturing.
• Prepare technical release packages, accompany prototypes and tackle issues with suppliers.
