Job summary

TomFit AG develops patented training machines and looks for an engineer who can design and test electronics from first principles. You will shape the electronics, move ideas from prototype to series, and embed sensing and diagnostics into the machines.

You work closely with suppliers and the software team in a fast, pragmatic environment. You will build boards, test extensively, and drive documentation, EMC readiness and reliability across the product line.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hardware experience with schematics, layout and testing on real hardware.
• Experience taking boards from prototype to series production.
• Familiarity with 12/24 V systems and embedded microcontrollers.

Responsibilities

• Shape the electronics from the ground up and set the way of working.
• Rebuild electronics, including current sensing, cabinet and bus wiring.
• Bring sensing and diagnostics into machines and enable fault reporting.
• Design boards or lead that work and integrate into the machine.
• Drive testability, EMC, second source and proper documentation.
• Own technical decisions with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
