You will work across electronics, mechanics and software, building, programming, assembling and testing integrated systems in a practical, hands-on environment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or comparable discipline.
• Practical electronics development experience.
• Exposure to microcontrollers / embedded software / firmware.
• Mechanical design and 3D CAD experience.
• Experience with 3D printing or rapid prototyping.
• Strong troubleshooting and practical engineering ability.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn technologies outside your core specialism.

Aufgaben

• Own practical engineering projects from idea to working demonstrator.
• Design electromechanical prototypes and experimental systems.
• Integrate electronic components, microcontrollers and mechanical assemblies.
• Develop embedded software/firmware for prototype applications.
• Create mechanical parts and assemblies using 3D CAD.
• Use 3D printing and other rapid-manufacturing techniques to produce prototype components.
• Select and integrate suitable components, interfaces and technologies.
• Assemble, debug and test complete systems in the laboratory.
• Run experiments to understand technical feasibility and performance.
• Rapidly modify designs based on test results and engineering feedback.
• Work with specialists from different technical disciplines to solve development challenges.
