Job summary

Spacetek Technology AG, based in Gümligen (Bern area), seeks an Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team. You will analyze, optimize and extend existing systems, and contribute to analog control circuits, FPGA design with Xilinx Vivado and VHDL, and embedded Linux with Yocto.

Based at our Gümligen headquarters, you will collaborate in an interdisciplinary, agile environment near the edge of physics, working with Altium Designer for PCBs and tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• A degree in electronic engineering.
• At least 5 years of industry experience in electronics development.
• Experience with circuit and PCB design.
• Experience with FPGA design.
• Knowledge of embedded Linux systems.
• Ability to work independently in a structured manner.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), German proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analysis, problemsolving and continuous improvement of existing systems.
• Development and optimization of analog control circuits.

Spacetek's technology has its origins in scientific space flight. We use this expertise to design, manufacture and distribute compact and robust time-of-flight mass spectrometers (TOF-MS) for industrial and space applications.
