Zusammenfassung

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineer specialized in SPP and SPC to support ongoing and upcoming railway projects in Villeneuve. Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will deliver electrical engineering activities in compliance with project requirements and Alstom electrical standards.

English fluency is mandatory; German is a plus. You will liaise with Architecture, TCMS, and RAMS teams and contribute to continuous improvement of electrical processes.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree in Electronics / Electrotechnics / Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in the electrical domain within the railway industry.
• Experience with electrical product development, wiring, and train architectures.

• Manage SPP and SPC modifications per baselines and CR process.
• Define robust, secure, and reliable electrical solutions.
• Select devices per PPL and project requirements.
• Ensure EN 50343 compliance.
• Coordinate with Functional Architecture, TCMS, and Systems Engineering.
• Improve fleet electrical reliability.
• Act as RAMS interface for reliability topics.
• Interface with electrical suppliers for technical guidance.
• Support projects through engineering coordination.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical processes.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer specialized in SPP (Signal Processing & Protection) and SPC (Signal Processing & Control) to support ongoing and upcoming projects. Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will deliver electrical engineering activities related to SPP and SPC systems in compliance with project requirements and Alstom electrical standards.

Your Mission

Electrical Engineering Activities

• Manage SPP and SPC modifications in accordance with electrical baselines and Change Request (CR) process
• Define robust, secure, and reliable functional technical solutions
• Select electrical devices in compliance with the Preferred Parts List (PPL) and project requirements
• Ensure compliance with applicable railway standards, including EN 50343

System & Interface Coordination

• Liaise closely with Functional Architecture, TCMS, and Systems Engineering teams
• Actively contribute to electrical reliability improvement of the fleet
• Serve as technical interface with the RAMS team for reliability-related topics

Supplier & Project Support

• Act as the technical interface with electrical suppliers
• Support project activities through technical expertise and engineering coordination
• Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical engineering processes and solutions

Profile

• Engineering degree in Electronics / Electrotechnics / Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical field
• Proven experience in the electrical domain within the railway industry (mandatory)
• Strong engineering background in Electrical components / Electrical product development / Wirings / Train electrical architectures / Electrical systems and functions
• Experience with digital tools for electrical product development

Good knowledge of:

E3 (electrical design software)

Ruplan (railway planning tool)

ELSA (electrical systems analysis)

EN 50343 (railway applications - rolling stock cables with special fire performance)

Languages

English - Fluent (spoken and written) - Mandatory

German - A plus (strong asset)
