ARTELIA Industrie Suisse SA in Pratteln (Basel area) is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to strengthen our fast-growing industrial engineering team. You will contribute technically and lead project tasks across feasibility, engineering, design and commissioning in industrial plants and process industries.

You will work on LV/MV/HV distribution, electrical schematics, equipment specifications, and supplier interface, with on-site activities in German-speaking Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years in industrial sector.
• Experience in Swiss industrial environment.
• Experience in chemicals, pharmaceuticals or process industries preferred.

Job Description

Your team:

You will strengthen the ARTELIA Industrie Suisse SA team in Pratteln (Basel area), within a fast-growing industrial engineering environment.

We deliver challenging projects in industrial plants and process industries, both as EPCM/turnkey support and on-site technical assistance, across the full project lifecycle: feasibility, engineering, detailed design, execution and commissioning (greenfield or brownfield).

To support our growth, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer, able to contribute both technically and in the leadership to tackle challenges on our projects.

Your responsibilities:

• Conduct low-voltage, medium-voltage, and high-voltage electrical distribution studies.
• Design electrical schematic diagrams.
• Specify electrical equipment (technical specifications and/or datasheets for power conversion systems (inverters), main low-voltage switchboards, transformers, etc.).
• Defining and sizing instruments (instrument datasheets/instrument lists, etc.) would be a real added value.
• Based on the equipment list, establish contact with suppliers in collaboration with the Purchasing department.
• Ensure technical comparison of offers and technical discussions with suppliers.
• Participate in project costing and financial, technical, and quality management.
• Verify input data and compliance with applicable standards
• Ensure quality of detailed engineering deliverables
• Act as technical interface with process, electrical and mechanical teams
• Execute FAT, SAT as well as IQ/OQ and commissioning activities

Project coordination & client interface (hybrid role)

• Act as the main technical contact for the client
• Lead EIA work packages according to your seniority
• Monitor schedule, costs and progress
• Propose and present optimized technical solutions
• Support and mentor junior engineers

On-site activities

• Assignments at industrial client sites in German-speaking Switzerland and occasionally across Switzerland
• Participation in commissioning and plant start-up
• Provide technical support during operation when required

Qualifications

Your Profile :

Education

• Master’s degree or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years in industrial sector
• Proven expertise in Electrical engineering activities and commissioning
• Experience in the Swiss industrial environment.
• Experience in chemicals, pharmaceuticals or process industries preferred

Technical skills

• Solid background in EMSR / EIA and instrumentation
• GMP knowledge: plus

Languages

• Fluency in German Prattee
• English: professional working level required
• French: an asset
