Job summary

Summit Recruitment AG is seeking an Electronics Engineer to develop embedded hardware systems from design to verification. You will design circuits, PCB layouts, and work closely with hardware and software teams to bring products from concept to testing.

The role emphasizes hands-on ownership of the hardware lifecycle, with experience in Altium, embedded C/C++, Linux, and laboratory testing. Aerospace experience is desirable and candidates with related industry backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years hardware development experience.
• Strong Altium skills and embedded C/C++.
• Experience Linux, test scripting, serial interfaces, and lab equipment.
• Aerospace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design circuits and PCB layouts using Altium.
• Bring prototypes into operation, troubleshoot hardware and develop automated tests in Linux.
• Collaborate across engineering teams on system integration and laboratory and field testing.

Your profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent, with 5+ years of relevant hardware development experience.
• Strong Altium skills and working knowledge of embedded C/C++ and microcontrollers.
• Experience with Linux, test scripting, serial interfaces and laboratory equipment.
• Ideally experience in aerospace industry
