Job summary

AYES, an international engineering and technology consulting company, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced power conversion systems. The role focuses on electrical design, EPLAN and low-voltage systems within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
3–5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably within power electronics or industrial applications.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain electrical schematics using EPLAN.
Design electrical circuits and architectures for power conversion systems, focusing on low-voltage and auxiliary circuits.
Select and size electrical components, including circuit breakers, contactors, power supplies, cables and protection devices.
Perform electrical calculations, including cable sizing, load analysis and protection coordination.
Prepare technical documentation, electrical drawings, specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Collaborate with Power Electronics, Mechanical, Hardware and Software teams throughout the development process.
Ensure compliance with IEC, UL and industry standards, supporting testing and commissioning activities.
