Zusammenfassung

CERN is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the LHC experiments team at CERN. You will help design and document low-voltage power and control systems for magnet safety and infrastructure, and participate in upgrades and testing.

You will collaborate with physicists, engineers and technicians to develop reliable, efficient electrical solutions and contribute to documentation and operation of critical systems within the accelerator complex.

Qualifikationen

• Eligible candidates are nationals of CERN Member States or Associate Member States; no PhD required.
• Max 2 years of professional experience since graduation in the field.
• Degree must be a bachelor’s or master’s; PhD disqualification submitted.

Aufgaben

• Design and document low-voltage power and control systems for magnet safety and infrastructure.
• Participate in implementation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems for LHC upgrades.
• Contribute to development and validation of electrical circuits for control and protection applications.
• Collaborate with physicists, engineers and technicians to produce reliable technical solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and support operation of critical systems.
