The Electrical Design and Documentation Office (EN-EL-DDO) at CERN invites an Electrical Designer to contribute to CERN's electrical power-distribution network, fibre-optics infrastructure and cabling for the accelerator complex. You will work under senior design managers on strategic projects like the North Area consolidation, SPS LV substations and LHC relay renovations.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree with 2–6 years of professional experience since graduation, or PhD with max 3 years since graduation.

Aufgaben

• Design low voltage distribution networks under senior designer guidance.
• Perform equipment sizing, protection studies and lighting studies for projects.
• Contribute to the electrical consolidation of the North Area and SPS LV substations; upgrade obsolete medium-voltage protection relays in the LHC.
