CERN in Geneva, Switzerland is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and document low‑voltage power and control systems for magnet safety and auxiliary infrastructure. You will contribute to operation and reliability of magnet systems for LHC experiments and work on future upgrades in a multidisciplinary team.

You will join a team responsible for developing and optimising hardware and software solutions for control, protection and safety systems used in CERN's experimental facilities. In this role, you will contribute to the operation and reliability of the magnet systems of the LHC experiments, including ATLAS, CMS, ALICE and LHCb, as well as other critical infrastructure. You will be involved in the design, implementation and maintenance of low-voltage electrical systems, working closely with engineers, technicians and physicists in a multidisciplinary environment.
Contract duration: 24 months, with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
Working hours: 40 hours per week
