Job summary

UNITED MACHINING is seeking a leader for the Electrical Cabinet Assembly team of about 10 employees in Bern. You will develop the team, enhance skills, and preserve knowledge retention while fostering a collaborative, safety-conscious work environment.

You will ensure high quality assembly, adherence to safety regulations, and coordinate orders with planning to meet delivery deadlines and cost targets, while supporting day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Technical apprenticeship in automation technology or similar field.
• A leadership or people-management qualification is preferred.
• Solution-oriented, assertive and communicative professional who drives continuous improvement.
• Good SAP and Excel knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Electrical Cabinet Assembly team of ~10 employees and develop their skills.
• Ensure high quality standards in assembly operations and comply with safety regulations.
• Coordinate assembly orders with the planning phase and meet deadlines and cost targets.
• Support day-to-day operations and contribute to continuous department improvements.
