Veolia Water Technologies, a Swiss operation, seeks an EHS Manager to lead systematic EHS management across Switzerland. You will implement corporate programs for Environment, Health and Safety and drive long-term strategic EHS initiatives, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Practical experience and proficiency in hazardous energy control and the strict application of LOTO standards on electrical, chemical, and gas systems.
• Familiar with Swiss and EU health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• EKAS recognized training (KOPAS or Sicherheitsfachmann) or willingness to obtain it, with commitment to periodic SUVA refresher courses.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Experience in ISO Management standards, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communicator with the ability to build trust and engage employees at all levels.
• Experience in the water treatment industry is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Enforce and maintain health and safety policies and procedures, conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, provide safety training, ensure compliance with Swiss and EU health and safety regulations as well as EHS regulations of Veolia.
• Implement and maintain environmental management systems in line with ISO standards.
• Support planning, implementation and monitoring of safety risks in all activities.
• Identify risks and support risk assessments.
• Follow Always Safe principles including compliance with occupational health and safety rules.
