Job summary

Medtronic plc in Vaud, Switzerland is seeking an EHS Engineer to join the Environmental, Health, and Safety team at the Tolochenaz site. You will support compliance programs and drive improvements across manufacturing operations.

The role requires knowledge of Swiss regulations and ISO 14001/45001, 3–5 years of EHS experience, and fluency in English and French. The position offers a competitive salary and a short-term incentive plan (MIP) as part of a flexible benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in EHS activities at a manufacturing site.
• Regulatory knowledge under Swiss confederation and ISO 14001/ISO 45001 or able to learn requirements.
• Established and productive individual contributor.
• Works independently with general supervision on larger, complex projects.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides EHS technical support during equipment and lines development projects.
• Applies knowledge to assist in development, implementation and administration of program guidelines and procedures.
• Develops, follows, and implements environmental, health, and safety projects per regulatory requirements and Medtronic policies.
• Provides technical support including training, documentation, data extraction, data review, and tracking.
• Monitors site indicators and ensures appropriate reporting.
• Monitors prevention activities, compliance, and auditing efforts.
• Assists in regulatory audits and interacts with regulatory bodies to resolve issues.
