FELFEL Switzerland in Zurich is seeking a Fleet & Device Engineer (100% hybrid) to own and operate the edge runtime for smart fridges and Gavetti coffee machine controllers. You will drive a unified fleet platform, reduce edge language fragmentation, and work closely with the Head of Engineering to shape hardware and software contracts.

The role requires 5+ years of production fleet experience, proficiency in C#, Go, or Kotlin, and hands-on knowledge of edge networking, Linux/Android, and device

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of building and operating production systems with live devices and OTA updates.
• Strong preference for consolidating and standardizing tech stacks.

Aufgaben

• Own the edge runtime end-to-end on smart fridges and coffee machine controllers.
• Consolidate fleet management onto a single platform (Azure IoT Hub or KubeEdge).
• Streamline tech stack by reducing edge languages and aligning with cloud.
• Collaborate with Head of Engineering to define hardware and software contracts.
• Manage vendor relationships and integrations for hardware and badge readers.
• Ensure accurate visibility of what runs in the field and on devices.
