Open Systems AG in Zürich seeks a Senior Software Systems Engineer specializing in Web Security to design, develop, and operate globally deployed services protecting organizations in 180+ countries. You’ll work at the intersection of software, systems, networking, and cybersecurity across the product lifecycle.

You’ll gain certification as a Mission Control Engineer and may join the Network Operations Center in Honolulu for three-month assignments with global security infrastructure operations.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP, and HTTPS.
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Experience working with Linux/UNIX-based systems.
• Experience working with cloud-native and containerized environments.
• Coding experience in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash) and compiled languages (e.g. Go, C++, Rust).
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in English.

• Design, develop, and operate highly scalable web security services.
• Drive observability, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational excellence across web security services.
• Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, from technical concept and implementation to production and continuous improvement.
