Job summary

Advertima in Zurich is seeking a Platform/DevOps Engineer to build and evolve the infrastructure platform for cloud and edge environments, enabling teams to develop, deploy and operate reliably.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Incus, work with Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform and Ansible), and collaborate across Product, Customer Success, Engineering, and Hardware teams to improve availability and security.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Five+ years of experience in DevOps or software engineering with a strong operations focus.
• Hands-on with containers (Docker/OCI) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with IaC and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong Linux system administration and scripting (Bash/Python).
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Build our internal platform: design, implement and maintain the infrastructure platform for cloud and edge environments.
• Enable self-service delivery: develop CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads.
• Collaborate across teams: work with Product, Customer Success, Engineering, ML and Hardware.
• Build security in from the start: secret handling, hardened images, strict access management.
• Improve platform availability: be on-call and use feedback to improve reliability.
