Position Overview

Currently, we have an opening for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician. The primary responsibilities may include performing installations, making modifications or repairs to sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and codes.

  • Working knowledge of Fire Sprinkler Systems
  • Able to work unsupervised and perform to a high standard of workmanship
  • Basic knowledge in the operation of hand and power tools common to the trade
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and new technologies
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including company vehicle, and must adhere to company safety policies and procedures
  • Must have valid Driver License and good DMV record

Qualifications

  • Industry Experience (Preferred)
  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Knowledge of NFPA Standards
  • Only applicants that possess the minimum qualifications will be considered. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotating On Call Shifts (Service Department Applicants)

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching. The position requires climbing ladders and scaffolds, as well as the ability to work in excess of 40 feet above the ground. He/she must be able to navigate the jobsite and must comply with all company safety requirements in the office and on the jobsite. Heavy equipment may be used and he/she needs to be able to lift weighty objects up to 50 lbs above his/her head.
