Vontobel invites ambitious students to join a 6‑month Early Careers Internship starting 1 March 2027 in Zurich. You’ll work on AI agents, automation prototypes, and knowledge-source integration under a supportive team.

The program offers hands-on experience, workshops, and networking opportunities within a global investment firm. You’ll develop cloud and AI skills, collaborate across teams, and contribute to practical solutions while exposing yourself to a dynamic financial environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s program in finance, technology or related field.
• Genuine interest in the financial sector.
• Fluent in English; German, French or Italian a plus.
• Valid work permit for Switzerland.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in building and enhancing AI agents and automation prototypes under guidance.
• Support connecting approved knowledge sources for secure retrieval by AI agents.
• Test prompts and agent responses, document findings, and improve reliability.
• Contribute to templates, docs, and how-to guides for AI platform reuse.
• Support platform monitoring, troubleshooting, and security standards.
• Collaborate with tech and business colleagues to solve practical AI needs.

Over 6 months, starting on 1 March 2027, you’ll gain hands‑on experience and insights into the financial industry while building lasting connections in a globally recognized investment firm.

What would your role be?

As part of the internship, you will:

• Help build and improve AI agents and automation prototypes using tools such as Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry, with guidance from the AI Platform team.
• Support the preparation and connection of approved knowledge sources so AI agents can retrieve relevant information securely.
• Test prompts and agent responses against example scenarios, document findings, and help improve answer quality and reliability.
• Contribute to reusable agent templates, technical documentation, and how-to guides that help colleagues build on the AI platform.
• Support platform monitoring and troubleshooting, helping the team investigate issues and follow security and responsible AI standards.
• Collaborate with technical and business colleagues to understand their needs and explore practical AI solutions to everyday challenges.
• Develop your AI and cloud technology skills through hands‑on work, team guidance, workshops, and networking opportunities.

What you need to apply

• You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, or graduated within the last two years, in finance, technology or a related field.
• You have a genuine interest in the financial sector.
• You are fluent in English, written and spoken.
• German, French or Italian is a plus.
• You hold a valid work permit for the location you are applying to.

The application period for the 2027 Early Careers Internship Program runs from 5 to 15 November. As applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and positions may close early, we encourage you to apply early. You may submit a maximum of two applications across all internship positions.
