Job summary

Vontobel invites students to join its Early Careers Internship Program in Zurich. The 6‑month internship starts on 1 March 2027 and offers hands‑on experience in risk management or change management within a globally recognized investment firm.

You will help develop Power BI dashboards, manage data quality, support project coordination, and collaborate across risk departments to deliver clear, user‑friendly reporting materials. English fluency is required; German/French/Italian are a plus.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, or graduated within the last two years.
• Genuine interest in the financial sector.
• Fluent in English; German, French or Italian is a plus.
• Valid work permit for Switzerland.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development & Reporting: You will support the creation, maintenance and enhancement of Power BI dashboards to visualise key risk metrics, indicators and reporting information across different financial risk departments.
• Data Management & Quality: You will collect, clean, structure and validate data from different sources to ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability in risk reporting.
• Project Management Support: You will support the coordination of initiatives across financial risk departments, including tracking deliverables, consolidating updates, maintaining documentation and following up on action items.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work with colleagues across different financial risk departments to understand reporting needs, gather relevant information and develop clear, consistent and user-friendly reporting materials.

What you need to apply

• You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, or graduated within the last two years, in finance, technology or a related field.
• You have a genuine interest in the financial sector.
• You are fluent in English, written and spoken.
• German, French or Italian is a plus.
• You hold a valid work permit for the location you are applying to.
