Job summary

ALBA Sourdough Pizza in Zurich seeks a Takeout, Delivery & Dispatch Operator to join our team and provide excellent customer service for takeout, delivery, and in-house guests. Shifts run three to five evenings per week, from 5:15 PM to 9 PM, with a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

You will embody ALBA's values, help package pizzas, manage takeout orders, and coordinate deliveries while maintaining a clean, energetic, and guest-focused service.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced takeout/delivery-focused restaurant preferred.
• Ability to multitask and lead during busy moments.
• Advanced English and German; knowledge of Italian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Embody ALBA values with guests, support colleagues during service.
• Work at the pass to finish and pack pizzas and other dishes with care.
• Manage takeout orders (phone, in-person, UberEats, direct deliveries) with precision.
• Ensure on-site service quality and accuracy in every detail.
• Welcome guests dining in-house and make them feel special.
• Coordinate direct deliveries and monitor times for timely service.
• Maintain mise en place for starters and desserts for the next rush.
• Keep service areas clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Act as front-line communicator between pizzeria, guests, and drivers.
• Provide feedback to management to continuously improve ALBA.
