Job summary

Flyability in Lausanne seeks a Technical Customer Support Specialist to join our frontline team, supporting customers worldwide with expert guidance on our Elios drone systems. You will diagnose issues, gather data, and escalate complex problems to engineering, while bridging field needs with our tech departments.

You will also own knowledge base content, write clear technical articles, and manage spare parts orders and drone repairs from HQ, reporting to the Head of Customer Support.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a technical support, field technician, or related troubleshooting role.
• Degree in Electronics, Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical field.
• Understanding of how hardware, software, and post-processing systems interact.
• Excellent written and verbal English; German or French skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting for customers and internal stakeholders via ticketing and phone.
• Investigate the drone's hardware, onboard computer, and software interactions to diagnose issues.
• Escalate complex issues to R&D with detailed, actionable context.
• Create and maintain technical knowledge base articles for customers and internal teams.
• Process and track spare parts orders and oversee drone repairs at HQ.
