Job summary

Flyability in Lausanne is seeking a Technical Customer Support Specialist (100%). You will be the technical frontline for customers worldwide, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and initial data gathering before escalation to engineering.

You will also act as the internal Hardware Referent, linking field feedback with R&D and maintaining the knowledge base. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, write clear technical articles, and process spare parts orders while supporting drone

Qualifications

3–5 years in a technical support, field technician, or related troubleshooting role
Degree in Electronics, Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical field
Strong understanding of how hardware, software and post processing interact; UAV operations and computer systems are assets

Responsibilities

Technical Troubleshooting: Support customers and internal stakeholders via ticketing system and phone; investigate issues and guide users step-by-step
System Investigation: Analyze drone hardware, onboard computers, and software to diagnose problems
Cross-Functional Escalation: Link between field and Quality/R&D; report recurring issues and provide context for root-cause analysis
Knowledge Sharing: Serve as internal hardware expert; collect insights and share with the team
Technical Writing: Create and maintain technical articles for knowledge base and internal docs
Service & Parts Logistics: Enter spare parts orders and track drone repairs at HQ
