In Switzerland, our “Operations and Supply chain” management consultants team is the spearhead of PwC’s management consulting practice. We have the privilege to work with many of the leading companies in the market, as well as new and growing businesses. To best serve our clients in Switzerland and across the globe, we collaborate closely with our global PwC network. 1. You will work with our clients on their supply chain operations processes, evaluate the creation and implementation of best-in-class supply chain methods and solutions.

2. Sell, lead and, together with the team, deliver high-impact projects engaging with senior stakeholders from high-profile clients in the life sciences industry.

3. Develop new ideas and propositions to share with clients to secure new and expand existing projects. The projects typically include the design and implementation of new technologies, supply chain processes, operating models, digital strategies and ways of working. They also include driving business performance through changing quality culture/mindsets, improving processes and procedures, benefitting from process automation and enabling insights from advanced analytics and AI.

4. With international clients, you will gain experience working in multi-cultural teams within Switzerland and abroad.

5. Drive the growth of our capabilities and the team strongly collaborating with PwC's global network of life sciences experts and leveraging our market-leading propositions, methodologies, assets and training materials.

Your Skill Set

1. You have a university degree in business operations or supply chain management or comparable.

2. As an experienced hire, you have a solid track record in delivering and overachieving on your projects and you can rely on your network in the life sciences industry.

3. In consulting, you have experience in running large transformation projects and developing new propositions and work. In the industry, you have been exposed to many of the key steps of improving supply chain or operations functions that operate along the value chain.

4. You have prior exposure to some of the following areas: digital strategy development, operating model design, supply chain planning, logistics and transportation, warehouse management.

5. Ideally you bring a network of potential business development channels and capabilities for a specific industry, e.g. Pharma or Consumer Goods.

6. You have previously mentored and coached members of the supply chain and operations team in your existing or previous role.

7. You have very good oral and written skills in English; German skills are beneficial. In addition, you are a team player but bring high independence.

8. You are willing to travel, mainly within the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
