Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an Operations Excellence lead for the EMEA Systems business. You will own and drive standards, develop roadmaps, and enable growth through process improvements and change management.

You will partner with regional leaders to deliver end-to-end operations, manage metrics, and promote best practices across installations. Strong leadership and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Project Management.
• Six Sigma / Lean certified.
• Change management experience in a dynamic environment.
• Able to work effectively in a matrix organization structure. Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Experience of managing/working with a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both internally and dealing with stakeholders.
• Performance driven with strong performance management to drive continuous improvement, taking the initiative and resolving problems.
• An ability to influence and gain credibility quickly across a diverse business.
• Ability to work across and progress multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Own & drive the operational excellence for EMEA Systems business to define, develop & deploy standards and capabilities to support business vision and growth.
• Work with Region/Country/Domain Systems Leaders to drive end-to-end operations, develop roadmaps and manage process improvements for revenue growth, margins and cash.
• Act as business champion and escalation point to maximize adoption of standard processes and tools with change management.
• Own Systems operational and financial metrics and monitor Backlog and contingency values for optimal use.
• Lead lessons learned and disseminate best practices across the region to improve performance.
• Collaborate with departments across Sales, Execution, L&D, Finance, Legal and Procurement to deliver strategic initiatives.
• Monitor risk within contracts, ensure governance alignment and auditing processes across installations.
• Drive data analytics self-serve and process automation to improve efficiency.
