Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Head of Vendor Management / Associate Director based in Switzerland to lead the centralized vendor strategy within a global pharma environment. You will drive supplier governance, outsourcing arrangements, and performance management, collaborating with Quality, Legal, and Finance to optimize value and compliance.

You will oversee the full vendor lifecycle, implement scalable processes, and mentor a high‑performing team while ensuring patient safety and continuity of supply

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Vendor Management within life sciences or regulated environments.
• Proven track record in managing vendor networks and outsourcing.
• Strong negotiation of complex agreements and governance programs.
• Experience designing vendor governance, KPIs, and risk management processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Vendor Management and Commercial Outsourcing function with a centralized approach.
• Build strategic vendor partnerships, governance, and performance management.
• Oversee sourcing, onboarding, evaluation, and offboarding of vendors.
• Monitor KPIs, cost optimization, and risk management across the vendor base.
• Collaborate with Legal, QA, Contract Management and cross‑functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and scalability of vendor processes.
