Zusammenfassung

SERAC Biosciences AG is seeking an Associate Director/Director, Biology in Targeted Protein Degradation (TPD) to lead degrader programs across oncology, inflammation, and immuno-oncology from validation to IND-enabling translational work.

The role requires deep expertise in PROTACs and molecular glues, managing cross-functional teams, CROs, and translating biology into clinical-readiness, with a focus on biomarker strategies and pharmacology to drive development candidates.

Qualifikationen

• PhD required with 8–12+ years of industry experience in biotech/pharma.
• Deep/broad expertise in oncology, immunology, or related disease biology.
• Hands-on experience with targeted protein degradation (PROTACs, molecular glues) and E3 ligase biology.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing CROs.

Aufgaben

• Lead degrader programs from target validation through IND-enabling translational packages.
• Define integrated biology and translational plans for lead identification and dose rationale.
• Oversee in vivo efficacy and PK/PD studies and interpret biomarker data.
• Collaborate with DMPK and toxicology to align PK/PD with IND expectations.
• Develop MoA and degradation pharmacology to support go/no-go decisions.
• Mentor a team of scientists across discovery biology and translational science.
