The incumbent will guide programs, mentor a multidisciplinary team, and drive innovation‑oriented performance to advance WIPO’s global IP ecosystem.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced university degree in management, business administration, political science, international relations, law, natural science, engineering, or related field.
• At least fifteen years of progressively responsible professional experience in intellectual property and/or innovation, including seven years at senior management level.
• Experience in IP analytics and IP commercialization; experience in an international environment.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic direction for the Division’s portfolio across technology transfer, IP analytics and IP commercialization, and support innovators and ventures in maximizing IP as a financial asset.
• Coordinate programs to align with WIPO’s goals and ensure effective cross‑department collaboration.
• Direct the Division's work, manage resources, and set priorities for timely, high‑quality delivery.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, foster collaboration, and promote an innovation‑oriented culture.
• Engage with WIPO Member States and stakeholders at the highest levels and represent the Organization in key meetings.
