Aritec New Materials Group AG is seeking a Transmission Belt Reinforcement Business Development Director to lead global commercial growth for advanced reinforcement solutions. The role requires deep belt knowledge, strategic selling, and leadership across R&D, operations, and sales.

You will engage with leading belt manufacturers and technical centers worldwide, shaping qualification programs and driving durable commercial commitments. Fluency in English and international travel are expected.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in commercial/technical sales or R&D in transmission belts or related reinforcement materials.
• Strong understanding of belt construction, reinforcement cords/fabrics, and bonding systems.
• Proven ability to manage long, multi-site sales cycles and develop strategic accounts.

Aufgaben

• Define and execute global sales strategy for transmission belt reinforcement portfolio.
• Build senior-level relationships with major belt manufacturers and key stakeholders.
• Translate customer requirements into clear technical and commercial value propositions.
• Lead customer development from initial discussion to sampling, testing, qualification and production launch.
• Coordinate with R&D, operations, quality, and supply chain to meet customer needs.
• Provide market intelligence on belt technologies, pricing trends, and risks.
• Support account plans, pricing, forecasts, and long-term supply agreements.
