Job summary

Novartis Basel, Switzerland, is seeking a Director, Deployment Strategist for AI-driven transformation. This hybrid role blends enterprise AI strategy with hands-on problem solving, reporting to senior leadership.

You will drive strategic AI projects, define scalable solutions, and deliver insights to enable top-level decisions. Expect collaboration with engineers, consultants, and executives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MS, MBA).
• Proven project and program management experience in strategic projects, pharma/healthcare ideal.
• Hands-on experience in digital/AI fields (2+ years) such as product management or analytics.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive strategic tech/AI projects for Novartis and senior leadership.
• Define cross-cutting AI solutions to scale value in the business.
• Generate strategic insights to inform executive decisions on AI and reimagining work.
• Serve as SME on AI topics and develop a network of tech/AI leaders across Novartis.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams including engineers and architects.
