Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking a Digital Business Project Manager to lead digital projects from planning through delivery for Swiss and international clients. You will work within a 60-person Customer Experience team, coordinating with clients, business consultants and technical teams to turn complex requirements into practical digital solutions.

The role combines hands-on project management with business consulting, offering exposure to SAP CX, SAP Commerce Cloud and Spryker across E-Commerce

Digital Business Project Manager (all genders)

Salary: Up to CHF 130,000 total package

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Business Project Manager to join a growing digital consulting and transformation team, working with well-known Swiss and international clients across the E-Commerce, Customer Experience and Digital Transformation space.

You’ll take ownership of digital projects from initial planning through to implementation and delivery, working closely with clients, business consultants and technical teams to turn complex business requirements into successful digital solutions.

This is a role that combines hands-on project management with business consulting. You’ll have the opportunity to influence how projects are delivered, build strong client relationships and take real ownership from day one.

You’ll join an established Customer Experience team of approximately 60 professionals, within a collaborative environment where consulting and implementation go hand in hand.

Your Responsibilities

• Independently manage digital business projects from initial planning and process analysis through to implementation, go-live and beyond.
• Take ownership of approximately 2-3 client projects across E-Commerce, SAP Commerce Cloud, Customer Experience and emerging AI-related solutions.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, quality and overall commercial delivery.
• Act as the central point of contact between clients, business consultants, developers and internal stakeholders.
• Work directly with customers, understanding their business challenges and translating these into practical digital solutions.
• Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through digital transformation.
• Coordinate internal project teams, ensuring clear communication, accountability and successful delivery.
• Manage client expectations, provide regular project updates and proactively address risks or challenges.
• Contribute to business consulting activities, helping clients understand not just what technology they need, but how it can improve their wider business.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years’ experience in IT Project Management, ideally within a digital agency or consulting environment.
• Experience managing digital projects, including budgets, timelines, resources and commercial delivery.
• Experience working with SAP CX, SAP Commerce Cloud, Spryker, Shopify or similar E-Commerce/CX platforms.
• An understanding of digital sales, service, marketing and E-Commerce processes.
• A consulting mindset, with the ability to understand business challenges and recommend practical solutions.
• Confident managing direct client relationships and communicating with different stakeholders.
• Familiarity with both traditional and agile project management methodologies.
• An outgoing, proactive personality who enjoys working collaboratively and taking ownership.
• Fluent High German is essential, alongside good English skills.

You don’t need to be an expert in everything. The team is looking for someone with a solid project management foundation, commercial awareness and the ambition to develop further within a growing digital business.
