• You contribute to the conceptual development and construction of IT architecture in the space sector
• You design, build and operate an IT infrastructure for highly secure applications
• You review technical requirements in cross-functional collaboration
• You ensure the necessary development, testing and production systems, including networks
• You evaluate and select systems as well as software components
• You define configurations and system integrations, considering subsystems such as data center, virtualization and security
• You contribute ideas and solutions to ensure and further develop stable systems
• You create and maintain the system documentation
  

What you should bring with you

• Completed degree in computer science or a related technical field
• Several years of professional experience as DevOps or System Engineer, an advantage if in the space context
• Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux systems as well as networking technologies
• Architecture expertise in virtual server environments is an advantage
• Experience in the space sector with TMTC and onboard computers is an advantage
• Strong hands-on mentality, problem-solving skills and excellent self-management
• Solution-oriented and connected thinking mindset
• EU and/or CH work permit and no entries in public registers (due to security screening)
• Business fluent in English (written and spoken) with German skills (advantageous)
