Job summary

Swisscom (Schweiz) is seeking a DevOps Engineer for the TelcoCloud Enabler Services team to design, implement and operate Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD for the TelcoCloud IaaS layer, collaborating across disciplines and applying deep CI/CD knowledge. You will support operations, monitoring and automation in a fast, agile environment.

You will participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, develop the pipeline framework, and contribute to Linux system engineering and automation while enjoying

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong Git usage and Python/Bash
• Excellent Linux/UNIX system skills
• Basic networking and services knowledge (LDAP, virtualization)
• Experience with Puppet/Ansible is a plus
• Good documentation skills and structured work
• Very good English; German is a plus
• Self-organization and results-oriented mindset
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD for TelcoCloud IaaS
• Engineer and run enabler services: IAM, secrets, backup, monitoring and HA-Cluster
• Linux system engineering including virtualization, logging and automation
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and operational work
